    Louis Jadot Côte de Nuits Village Levaucrain

    Grape varieties: Pinot Noir.
    Vinification: The grapes are selected by hand and destemmed. Maceration takes place in open-topped wooden vats or stainless steel tanks, lasting 3 to 4 weeks. During fermentation, pigeage is carried out twice a day.
    Aging: The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels from our cooperage, 1/3 of which are new.
    Colour: Ruby open. 
    Aroma: It has notes of cherries, plums and cassis mixed with hints of potpourri and warm spices.
    Flavour: On the palate the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety, with lively acids as well as refined tannins and a beautiful core of fruit.


    Serve: 16⁰ to 17⁰
    Consumption: Immediate.


    Harmonisation: Grilled red meats, osso bucco, stew, ragu, bœuf bourguignon and game.
