Herdade do Arrepiado Velho Brett Edition
Grape varieties: Syrah.
Vinification: Harvested by hand in 25kg boxes, followed by tight sorting on a selection table, very light destemming to crack the berry. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation at controlled temperatures. ‘Cuvaison for 21 days.
Aging: 16 months in French oak barrels.
Colour: Concentrated ruby-violet.
Aroma: Exuberant nose, cigarette box, leather, spices and blackcurrants.
Flavour: Round, smooth and rich. Good freshness and persistence.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: It goes well with grilled dishes, red meats, steaks or lamb and is excellent with cheeses, even the strongest ones.
