Código Republicano Syrah
Grape varieties: Syrah.
Vinification: 50% matured in stainless steel vats and 50% matured in new 300L French oak barrels for around 18 months, with the blend made afterwards.
Aging: 18 months in new French oak barrels (50%) and stainless steel (50%).
Colour: Ruby bright.
Aroma: Intense aromatic profile, notes of ripe red fruit accompanied by a complex base of toast, smoke and tobacco notes.
Flavour: Fine and elegant, with excellent body. A balance between fresh acidity, moderate alcohol content and elegant tannins, as well as a long finish, this is a Syrah inspired by the ‘old world’.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Game dishes and red meats.
