António Braga Cão Que Ladra Mourisco Roxo is a wine created by winemaker António Braga, produced from a plot of Mourisco Roxo located in the Upper Douro, planted around 40 years ago in schist soil at an altitude of 550 metres. It has a marked aroma of forest fruits and a slight shrubby note, as well as elegant tannins and firm acidity, balanced and gastronomic.

    António Braga Cão Que Ladra Red Mourisco Roxo

    Grape varieties: Mourisco Roxo.
    Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation in a temperature-controlled press, with 50% whole bunch.
    Aging: French oak barrels used for 10 months.
    Colour: Cor rubi viva. 
    Aroma: Forest fruits and a slight shrubby note, with full integration of the character imparted by ageing in used barrels.
    Flavour: Elegant tannins and firm acidity, with a very elegant classic profile, as well as a very balanced and gastronomic finish.


    Serve: 14⁰ to 16⁰
    Consumption: Immediate or storage (10 years).


    Harmonisation: Red meat, baked meat dishes.
