Cerca dos Frades Branco Colheita Selecionada is a blend of the three indigenous grape varieties of the region, vinified with indigenous yeasts and where the priority is the expression of the terroir of the Azores. It combines the freshness of Arinto and the fragrance of Verdelho with the elegance of Terrantez, as well as great salinity, marked by the volcanic soils near the sea.

Descobri a Tourinto Premium Eines enquanto procurava pelo Natus Tinto, um vinho diferenciado. Fiz a encomenda e o tratamento surpreendeu-me. O cuidado com a escolha da data de expedição para mono ar tempo em trânsito, o cuidado com a embalagem e o contacto próximo e cuidado de quem conhece os tesouros que vende. Quanto ao Natus, um vinho tinto raro e precioso. Um vinho que não se mascara com madeira e corpo exagerado. Um vinho que não presume e que não tenta justificar preço com taninos em força e alto teor alcoólico. Delicado, leve, honesto, fresco e com assumido sabor a fruta, a vinho…. O que persiste não são taninos, mas sim um sabor a fruta vermelha que convida a um novo saborear. Estou muito agradecido à Tourinto e ao Sr Hamilton enólogo do Natus..

Description

A Cerca dos Frades Branco Colheita Selecionada

Grape varieties: Blend of Verdelho 37%, Arinto dos Açores 28% and Terrantez do Pico 35%.
Vinification: Gentle pressing of whole bunches, decanting after 12 hours of sedimentation. Fermented in indigenous yeasts with temperature control.
Aging: 75% in horizontal stainless steel vats, 15% in vertical stainless steel vats and 10% in used French oak barrels.
Colour: Straw yellow.
Aroma: A complex flavour that combines the freshness of Arinto with the fragrance of Verdelho.
Flavour: The palate is fresh and saline, marked by the elegance of the Terrantez and the volcanic soils close to the sea.

Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.

Harmonisation: Ideal for grilled fish and salads, as well as fresh seafood.
