Château de Charodon

Château de Charodon was founded in 2010 by winemaker Louis Vallet, who represents the third generation of Domaine Pierre Bourée in Gevrey-Chambertin, a family with a long tradition of winemaking in Burgundy.

With the support of his father Bernard and brother Thibault, Louis renovated old cellars and opted for a sustainable approach with limited production, focused on the authentic expression of the terroir, prioritising viticulture with organic practices and minimal intervention, valuing family knowledge and a modern vision.

Louis works with some of the finest vineyards in the Côte d'Or, some of which are leased from retiring producers or belong to the family.
