Márcio Lopes Winemaker is an agronomist who has always had contact with rural life and agriculture. He aims to make wines that bring out the best that nature has to offer and respect what the land gives.

The philosophy is based on a small family business, supported by the commitment and dynamism of a team willing to roll up their sleeves.

The producer and winemaker explores old vines and old, unloved grape varieties, as the project emerges with the need to hold on to the vines that nobody wanted.

After returning from Australia, where he was involved in grape harvesting in Rutherglen and Tasmania Island, he started in 2010 the projects Little Sprouts' and Forbidden.

Wines that express the personality and character of the terroir, but mainly of the land. The minimum intervention, the respect for what the land gives, the experiences and the concretization are in the genesis of the identity of its wines.
