Verdelho dos Villões
Grape varieties: Verdelho.
Vinification: Hand-picked and selected, whole bunches are pressed directly into SO2-free decanting tanks until fermentation is complete, allowing the must to pre-oxidise and ferment spontaneously in 500-litre stainless steel vats and a 228-litre barrel.
Aging: Total lees ageing for 9 months.
Colour: Clean citrine yellow.
Aroma: Fresh, mineral/volcanic aroma with some tropical fruit.
Flavour: Tense attack, good freshness, with plenty of salinity present until the end.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Seafood and oily fish.
