Textura Encoberta Red
Grape varieties: Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional.
Vinification: Fermented with indigenous yeasts only in 5000 litre French oak vats, aged 4 years, and 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison.
Aging: 5 months in French oak barrels and balseiros.
Colour: Intense ruby.
Aroma: Black fruit and spicy notes.
Flavour: Fruity, dense and textured. Dry, with some earthy character and a slightly tannic finish.
Serve: 16⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: It accompanies mushroom-based dishes, oven-roasted veal or legs of lamb.
