Teixuga White Caminhos Cruzados
Grape varieties: Mostly Encruzado, sprinkled with other grape varieties from the old vineyard.
Aging: 34 months in new and used French oak barrels with periodic battonage, followed by 7 months in bottle.
Colour: Straw yellow.
Aroma: Great intensity, revealing aromatic complexity due to the particular ageing conditions. The superior integration of the aromas from the French oak where it was aged stands out.
Flavour: Intense, voluminous attack, revealing a lively but very integrated acidity. The finish is long and memorable.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Roast kid, baked cod, soft cheeses.
