Sottimano Barbaresco Bassarin DOCG
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo.
Vinification: Selection, followed by spontaneous fermentation. After maceration, the wine is transferred to wooden barrels, where malolactic fermentation is completed.
Aging: Oak wood barrels.
Colour: Ruby open.
Aroma: Characterised by balsamic herbs, violets, pipe tobacco, wild berries and spices.
Flavour: Wild berries and intense floral notes, persistent and velvety tannins accompanied by hints of spice.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: First mate or guard (2030).
Harmonisation: Red meat, ossobuco, pasta and cheese.
