Quinta do Mouro Petit Verdot
Grape varieties: Petit Verdot.
Vinification: Total destemming, foot treading in the wine press for 3 days with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by long post-fermentation maceration and pressing in wooden baskets.
Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels, 3 years in the bottle.
Colour: Intense Ruby.
Aroma: Aromas of black fruit with floral notes of violet, orange blossom, some menthol and spice.
Flavour: Full-bodied, with excellent tannin structure, elegant but rustic with a hint of vegetation, good acidity and a long finish, as well as being elegant and fresh.
Serve: 15 a 17⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
