Quinta da Prelada Vintage Port 2017
Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão.
Vinification: 4 days of fermentation with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with automatic pumping over. Fermentation interrupted with wine spirit.
Aging: 2 years in 5000-litre oak casks.
Colour: Deep black violet.
Aroma: Intense aromas of ripe fruits such as blackberries and plums.
Flavour: On the palate, it is robust, vigorous and full-bodied, with very rich tannins that leave a deep and fresh finish. Excellent balance between acidity and sweetness.
Serve: 16-18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Desserts, blue cheese, dark chocolate.
