Pegos Claros Rose
Grape varieties: Castelão.
Vinification: Manual harvesting and transport in 20kg crates. Direct pressing with whole bunches, using only the must from the second pressings. Part (20%) fermented in used French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel vats.
Aging: Aged on its lees for 6 months. Part (20%) aged in used French oak barrels for 6 months.
Colour: Salmon.
Aroma: Aroma of red fruits, redcurrants and white flowers.
Flavour: Enveloping, with a balance between refreshing acidity and smooth structure.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Excellent as an appetiser and goes well with sushi, fish and salads.
