Pégaso Grande Chumbo Branco 2023
Grape varieties: Arinto 100%
Vinification: Cold pre-fermentation maceration in stainless steel, fermentation in 600L second-use barrels at controlled temperature. Battonage with total lees for 6 months, complete malolactic fermentation, unfiltered and unfined.
Aging: 18 months in second use barrels.
Colour: Golden.
Aroma: Intense gunpowder notes and some phosphorus, as well as lemon peel, brioche and orange blossom.
Flavour: A white wine ‘disguised as red’, voluminous and firm, with acidity and tannins to support the whole. Notes of honey and candied fruit, as well as great elegance and finesse.
Serve: 12⁰ to 14⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: White meat dishes, baked fish and game.
