Aging: 1 year in 300-litre French oak barrels (80 per cent new).
Colour: Intense garnet.
Flavour: Full-bodied, robust and powerful, yet with immense elegance and finesse. The attack confirms the fruit and spices, with very powerful yet well-integrated tannins, alongside lively, taut and very fresh acidity. The finish is textured, full of vigour and markedly persistent.
