Filipa Pato Post Quer..s Baga
Grape varieties: Baga (old vines).
Vinification: Hand-harvested, partially destemmed, fermented and aged in amphorae (400–600 l) with minimal extraction and a long maceration period on the skins. A very authentic Baga, where the amphorae allow for gentle micro-oxygenation, which greatly helps to develop fine, silky tannins.
Aging: 6 months in amphorae.
Colour: Bright cherry red.
Aroma: The aroma is direct and pure.
Flavour: The fruit is very simple and pure: small, red stone fruits that are both delicate and elegant, as well as very juicy, with a lingering and tantalising finish.
Serve: 14-16⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage (5 years).
Harmonisation: Grilled fish, seafood, white meat and cheese.
