Alves de Sousa Pessoal White
Grape varieties: Fine Malvasia, Viosinho, Gouveio and other indigenous grape varieties.
Vinification: Total destemming followed by 48 hours of maceration. After gentle pressing and decanting, the must is hyper-oxidised and then fermented in new, second-year French oak barrels.
Aging: 2 years in 500 litres of French oak and 225 litres for the second year.
Colour: Golden.
Aroma: Floral aroma, orange peel, cinnamon and other spices.
Flavour: In the mouth it is surprisingly dry, silky and with a great structure. A deeply different and unique wine with a very long finish.
Serve: 12⁰ to 14⁰
Consumption: Immediate or guardian (12 to 15 years).
Harmonisation: Baked fish dishes and white meats.
