Serra Oca Castelão is a low intervention Lisbon regional wine from organic viticulture. It has aromas of red fruit, such as dried strawberries and redcurrants, fresh grapes, as well as a touch of green leaf. The palate is characterised by fresh, crunchy red fruit and medium tannins.

    Serra Oca Castelão Tinto

    Grape varieties: Castelão.
    Vinification: Whole bunch crushing, tanning and fermentation in 1000 litre vats with spontaneous yeasts for five days. Not fined or filtered.
    Aging: It was fermented and aged in used 225-litre French oak barrels.
    Colour: Ruby.
    Aroma:  Red fruit such as dried strawberries and redcurrants, fresh grapes, as well as a touch of green leaf.
    Flavour: Fresh, crunchy red fruit with medium tannins.


    Serve: 16 to 18⁰

    Consumption: Immediate.


    Harmonisation: Red meats, oven-baked loin and cheeses.
