    Schloss Gobelsburg Gaisberg Riesling

    Grape varieties: Riesling.
    Vinification: Hand-picked, gently pressed (whole bunches) and the must is left to settle naturally by sedimentation. Spontaneous fermentation in large Austrian oak barrels.
    Aging: 6 to 12 months in 25hl Austrian oak casks on fine lees.
    Colour: Greenish-yellow. 
    Aroma: A complex and exciting bouquet, with notes of apricot and elderflower, slate spices and citrus hints of mandarin and lemon.
    Flavour: Electric, opening up to ripe, concentrated fruit. Dense and tense, with exquisite acidity that sustains a spectacularly long, mouth-watering, salty and mineral finish.


    Serve: 10 to 12⁰
    Consumption: Immediate or storage.


    Harmonisation: Ideal with fish, white meat, cheese, scallops and lobster.
