Ribeiro Santo Envelope White
Grape varieties: Encruzado.
Vinification: Wine lees from 2018 were selected, with fermentation of the must taking place under the lees. Fermentation was completed in new 500L French oak barrels, with battonage for 6 months.
Aging: French oak barrels.
Colour: Crystalline.
Aroma: Notes of white fruit and wet stone, clearly showing the profile of two-year-old lees, vegetal and austere on the nose.
Flavour: In the mouth it has a lot of structure and impressive volume, where the toastiness of the wood combines perfectly with the buttery flavours on the palate.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Meat dishes such as duck rice, oven-roasted cod and traditional sausages.
