Taylor´s Porto Tawny 50 anos Golden Age

Grape varieties: Several typical Douro grape varieties.
Aging: Oak casks for an average of 30 years.
Colour: Core brown, coppery with a fine golden rim.
Aroma: The primary aromas are elegant, rich and very delicate, revealing notes of rum and sultanas, cloves, nutmeg and hints of ground black pepper.
Flavour: Notes of plums, quinces and apricots, as well as lemon and orange zest. In addition, notes of braised pineapple, passion fruit and lychee balance beautifully with toasted coconut, almonds and butterscotch. With a texture and body that envelops the palate, it ends in a fresh and very balanced finish, as well as an aftertaste that seems eternal.

    Serve: 12⁰ to 16⁰
    Consumption: Immediate.

Harmonisation: Dessert wine. It goes well with fig, almond and caramel flavours. It is also excellent to accompany a crème brulée or a bowl of strawberries. It can also be enjoyed alone at the end of the meal with nuts or other dried fruit.
