Quinta de Santiago Cisma Loureiro
Grape varieties: Loureiro.
Vinification: Hand-harvested, with 12 hours’ pre-fermentation maceration without destemming and with light crushing, followed by pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Aging: Following cold settling, it is aged for 9 months on the full lees in stainless steel and used French oak barrels – 500 litres.
Colour: Straw yellow.
Aroma: A restrained, fresh aroma with notes of dried tea leaves. A slight balsamic touch, white flowers and a strong citrus note.
Flavour: Medium body, characterised by its acidity. Lemony, with a slight reduction and a hint of oxidation.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Marinated dishes, shellfish, oily fish, white meat and pasta dishes.
