Quinta da Foz 1872 Special Edition
Grape varieties: Old Vines.
Aging: 30 months in new French and Hungarian oak barrels.
Colour: Deep Ruby.
Aroma: Notes of black fruit, such as sultana plum and sour cherry, cocoa and chocolate, balsamic aromas, resin and menthol, a wood present but well integrated, very complex.
Flavour: Good volume, round but firm tannins, balanced acidity, black fruit notes, slightly floral and with a long and harmonious finish.
Serve: 16⁰ a 18⁰.
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Roast kid or grilled matured meat, game or fatty fish roasted in the oven.
