Quinta do Vale Meão
From 1999, the grapes from Quinta do Vale Meão were produced in the Quinta, Vale Meão and Meandro vineyards.
Called "Barca-Nova" (new Barca-Velha) by some, it quickly established itself as one of the most prestigious Portuguese wines, and Quinta do Vale Meão and Olanzabal became part of the Douro's heritage.
As a result of the combination of different traditional grape varieties from the region, which come from geologically varied plots, they contribute to the complexity and consequently the identity of their wines.
