Textura Pura Red
Grape varieties: Old vines from Jaen, Baga, Alfrocheiro, Tinto-Cão and Tinta Pinheira.
Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation in used French oak vats (40% whole bunches), followed by post-fermentation maceration for 30 days.
Aging: 16 months in used 3,000 litre French oak barrels, with another part in used 225 litre French oak barrels.
Colour: Grenada.
Aroma: Delicate fresh red fruits such as cherry and redcurrant, as well as some spices and woodland aromas.
Flavour: Marked acidity and minerality, fine tannins, refined and pure, with fruit always present, as well as a long and complex finish.
Serve: 16⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Roast kid, veal or octopus.
