Quinta do Mouro Merlot Tinto
Grape varieties: Merlot.
Vinification: Total destemming, foot treading in the wine press for three days with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by long post-fermentation maceration and pressing in wooden baskets.
Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels, 3 years in the bottle.
Colour: Intense Ruby. 
Aroma: Blue fruits such as blueberries, black plums, ripe cherries, dark chocolate and quince.
Flavour: Excellent tannin structure, well-integrated wood, balanced by a present acidity that gives freshness to the tasting and gives the wine a long and persistent finish.
Serve: 15 a 17⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
