    Carlos Raposo Definido Red

    Grape varieties: Old vineyards of Tinta Pinheira, Tinta Carvalha, Baga, Touriga Nacional, Jaen, among others.
    Vinification: Careful selection followed by spontaneous fermentation in cement vats, racking and malolactic fermentation.
    Aging: 22 months in old cement vats (1962).
    Colour: Bright ruby. 
    Aroma: Deep, complex and austere. The mineral profile presents floral notes, as well as cocoa and forest fruits.
    Flavour: Multiple layers, reflecting the freshness and minerality of the old vines. With a silky texture and firm structure, it has very polished tannins and a very fine, long and seductive finish.


    Serve: 16 to 18⁰
    Consumption: Immediate.


    Harmonisation: Game dishes, duck rice, vegetarian dishes with mushrooms or truffles.
